Birmingham: A memorable Eid-ul-Fitr party was organised by APWA Birmingham in a local hall. In which Vice Consul of Pakistan Birmingham Bakhtawar Mir participated as chief guest.
Chairperson APWA UK Seemi Awan, Chairperson APWA Birmingham Riffat Mughal and others also graced the occasion. Vice Consul of Pakistan Birmingham Bakhtawar Mir said that British Pakistani women immigrants can truly serve their beloved homeland by enlightening their new generations of boys and girls with their culture, arts, norms, history and civilization.
She said that we should use our abilities according to our education and professions to highlight the positive face of our dear country irrespective of colour, race and gender. On the occasion, Chairperson APWA UK Seemi Awan and Chairperson APWA Birmingham Riffat Mughal said that the APWA team is working day and night for the welfare, empowerment and betterment of women here and in back home.
Eid cake was also cut on this occasion and the distinguished guests were treated to positive entertainment, music, as well as a delicious dinner.
In attendance were Adeela Parvez, Rana Shama Nazir, Gazalah Ahmed, Shaam Abbasi, Nabila Butt, Nausheen Syed, Shama Minhas, Saiqa Ch, Nasreen Awan, Shazia Bashir, Hajra Khan, Shazia Hussain Mua, Bina Ahmed, Shagufta Naz, Fajli BiBi, Dr Nikhet Iftekhar and others.
