Birmingham: APWA Birmingham Annual General Meeting and re elections were held at the Mosley Community hub. The new APWA Birmingham team were elected for a three year term. The newly elected chairperson of APWA Birmingham is Riffat Mughal, Vice Chairperson Rana Shama Nazir, General Secretary Adeela Pervez, Treasurer Sajeda Awan, Joint Secretary Tehmina Aftab , Social Secretary Shaam Abbasi, Shazia Bashir Joint Social Secretary, Nasreen Awan Senior Executive Member, Nagina Sadiq and Executive Member Gazalah Ahmed. The senior advisory role previously held by Samina Rajah has been dissolved. The treasure gave a briefing of the accounts. and Amina Sultani has been nominated as the President of APWA Birmingham Youth Wing. The attendees expressed their appreciation for the work of APWA Birmingham. The chairperson stated the membership was frozen last year due to the Corona Pandemic. The event was held in line with current Covid Restrictions. In attendance were Shama Minhas, Noureen Mohammed, Fajli Bibi, Kubra Bibi, Ruby Tariq, Saeeda and others.
