Mirwaiz denounces the illegal detention of Yasin Malik

Syed Faiz Naqshbandi Convener All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) led by incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Dr Umar Farooq has denounced the continued arrest and detention of Chairman JKLF Mohammed Yasin Malik at Tihar Jail New Delhi and demanded immediate release.

14 June,2020: Syed Faiz Naqshbandi Convener All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) led by incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Dr Umar Farooq has denounced the continued arrest and detention of Chairman JKLF Mohammed Yasin Malik at Tihar Jail New Delhi and demanded his immediate release.

The Indian authorities have put him in death cell and his health is fast deteriorating. Mr Yasin Malik is heart patient. He being deprived of Medical care, said Mr Naqshbandi in an extraordinary APHC meeting at Islamabad.

Mr Naqshbandi has denounced continued house arrest of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and demanded his release forthwith. Chairman MirWaiz Umar has been under house arrest since August 5th 2019. No one is allowed to meet him.

The meeting condemned the ongoing genocide policy of Government of India in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.Despite Indian terror, Kashmiris will continue their struggle for right to self determination, said Mr Naqshbandi.

Mr Naqshbandi said that India is maliciously defaming Pakistan and freedom movement of IOJK. People of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are thankful to the People and Government of Pakistan for their political and diplomatic support.

Mr Naqshbandi appealed to ICRC for their visit to Indian Central Tihar Jail and other jails to see the plight of Kashmiri detainees especially ailing Mr Yasin Malik.

P-5 members of UN Security Council were requested to pressurise India to stop all kinds of human rights abuses in Occupied Kashmir, Mr Naqshbandi demanded.
