Nottingham: The Annual Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe (APPNE) health convention 2022 was held at the Kelham Hall, Newark. Multidisciplinary CME meetings continued throughout the whole day followed by plenary session attended by representatives of the Royal colleges, GMC, BMA and Doctors from 8 different nationalities.
During the event the accomplishment of doctors in the UK communities was highlighted and recognised. The doctors community expressed their desire to continue supporting junior doctors in their training initiatives as well as supporting doctors and their families in medical legal and immigration issues.
The event continued into the evening, where participants were treated to 4 course dinner with a mesmerising Pakistani music concert. On this entertaining occasion, great tributes were paid to Queen Elizabeth II for her valuable services to the British people. The convention was attended by more than 1000 Pakistani doctors and their families.
