The elections of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe have been completed

London: The elections of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe have been completed. Dr. Nadeem Sajjad Raja has been elected president while Kamila Haider General Secretary for 2025.

According to details, the 2025 elections of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe, a representative organisation of Pakistani doctors, have been completed. The total number of eligible votes was 1926. Out of which 1544 votes were cast online while the turnout was 80.2%. Out of this, 19 votes were declared invalid, and 1525 votes were declared valid. The contest for the presidency was between Dr. Nadeem Sajjad Raja and Dr. Shabi Ahmad. Dr. Nadeem Raja came first with 890 votes, while Dr. Shabi Ahmad came runner up with 635 votes.

Three candidates, Dr. Kamila Haider, Dr. Amara Sohail and Dr. Sohail Qureshi, participated in the election for the post of General Secretary. Dr. Kamila Haider was elected with 777 votes, while Amara Sohail came second with 577 votes and Dr. Sohail Qureshi came third with 132 votes. For 2025, Hassan Aziz Mirza has been elected Treasurer, Muhammad Ali Karim Joint Secretary, Naseem Waraich Social Secretary and 10 executive members have been elected for 2025.
