Birmingham: The Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Board would like your views on its draft strategy; Creating a Bolder, Healthier City.
Creating a Bolder, Healthier City sets out the Health and Wellbeing Board’s ambitions for the next eight years (2022-2030), signposting to action across the health and care system. It contains a series of themes and cross-cutting approaches, and each section outlines its key actions, indicators to measure progress, and the leadership required to achieve its ambitions.
The strategy builds on previous consultation and engagement, as well as the experience of and response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a crisis that has highlighted and exacerbated existing inequalities.
The consultation will allow the Health and Wellbeing Board to seek the views of the people of Birmingham and its partners. It is an opportunity for people across the city to support the co-development of the strategy.
Details of the Creating a Bolder, Healthier City document and the online consultation are available on the city’s Be Heard consultation website.
The responses and feedback received will inform the development of the cross-cutting strategy that will support action across the system to improve the health and wellbeing of our citizens and tackle health inequalities.
