Birmingham: The annual conference of the British Indian Psychiatric Association (BIPA) for 2023 held an academic and social event along with Gala dinner at the Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham on 10-11 June.
The conference included an exciting program with lectures and workshops conducted by renowned experts in the field. Attendees actively participated in activities such as interactive talks, mental health quiz, poster presentations and an essay competition.
BIPA, established in 1995, is the largest organisation for psychiatrists in the U.K. after the Royal College of Psychiatrists. It gained charity status in October 2016 and is now registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the Charity Commission.
During the event, BIPA officials, members, and others had a special conversation with World News TV. Health specialists and psychiatrists enjoyed a memorable evening with dance and Bollywood music.
There was a great entertainment programme for everyone at the end of the day which included DJ, dance performances and music along with delicious food.
