London: Vacancy for the Chairmanship of the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee of the National Assembly of Pakistan is vacant. The overseas community, political and social personalities, Kashmiri organisations and people of different schools of thought demanded that MNA Ms Naureen Farooq Ibrahim be given the role of chairman.
The demand was placed in front of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Senate, members of the National Assembly and the Government of Pakistan. MNA Ms Naureen Farooq Ibrahim, is a member of the family of Sardar Mohammed Ibrahim Khan, Founder President of Azad Kashmir, will be made the Chairperson of the Kashmir Committee. In the most critical situation at the moment, She should be given a chance to play his role in the independence movement. Within his role as MNA for the Ksshmir issue Ms Naureen Farooq Ibrahim has played a role beyond his capabilities in a short space of time in front of national and international forums, delegations and institutions, including the federal capital, presented the struggle of Kashmiris for the Kashmir issue and the position of right to self-determination in a very effective manner.
Overseas community and heads of Kashmiri organisations based in UK, Europe, Middle East, USA and other countries appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Speaker National Assembly, Chairman Senate and members of Kashmir Committee MNAs and Senators to take this important step and choose a talented lady from the largest Kashmiri family for the latest forum.
With the appointment of Ms Naureen Farooq Ibrahim as Chairperson, not only will the role of the Kashmir Committee be more effective and active here, but it will also send an encouraging message from Islamabad to the oppressed, subjugated and compelled Kashmiris across Kashmir. Kashmiris appeal to all political parties in the National Assembly and Senate to agree on this and play a role in this demand of Kashmiris without any partisan or political expediency. On the occasion, well-known Kashmiri leader and chairman of JKSDMI Raja Najabat Hussain said that in the past, Mujahid-e-Awal Sardar Mohammed Abdul Qayyum Khan was made a chairman of the Kashmir committee. It is a clear fact that Pakistan’s Kashmir policy and stance at the moment and the way he has presented Kashmiris around the world in a strong and effective manner as Chairman.
Even now, if MNA Ms Naureen Ibrahim, a woman MNA from the historic family of President Ghazi e Millat Sardar Mohammed Ibrahim Khan, gets this role, the Kashmiris who are suffering from the most difficult conditions and engaged in the struggle will surely be encouraged. MNA Ms Naureen Ibrahim also has the ability to work with a strong and effective strategy against the Indian lobby at the national and international level as chairperson due to her skills and access to international affairs. The Kashmiri nation, especially the Overseas Community, calls on the leadership of all political and parliamentary parties in Pakistan, including the Government of Pakistan, to unanimously appoint MNA Ms Naureen Ibrahim as Chairperson of the Kashmir Committee so that the current Kashmir crisis will be controlled and Kashmiris can play their role for Kashmir effectively.
