Cllr Paulette Hamilton’s important message to the Birmingham Bame community that needs a urgent response

Cllr Paulette Hamilton welcomes Government review on how COVID – 19 is affecting BAME communities in the UK

Message from Cllr Paulette Hamilton

I welcome the review by the government to look at evidence relating to how Covid-19 is affecting Bame communities. Birmingham wants to play a part in this. For this reason on Thursday 23rd April 2020 at 3pm until 5pm I will be chairing an emergency Remote Health and Well-being board meeting to examine this issue. It will be live streamed with the NH S , CCG, and others who will be presenting and answering questions. This is your opportunity to send in any questions you may have to the board. Questions forwarded will be put to the contributors. My plan is also to foward these questions from Birmingham residents into the national enquiry with our data and evidence from Birmingham.
This is live streamed so you are able to watch on line.
Send all questions to paulette.hamilton@birmingham.gov.uk. ( chair of the Health and wellbeing board) Or Justin.varney@birmingham.gov.uk (Public Health Director)
