Birmingham: On Friday 17th October 2025, an open day took place at Community Plaza in Bordesley Green Birmingham in which more than 100 people from various communities were in attendance.
Community Plaza is a hub which under the supervision of UK Global Youth & Community Ambassador Mohammed Zafran BEM has steered more than 48,000 youths away from knife crime and back in education.
This centre caters for Mental Health, Drugs and Awareness Classes, Youth Programs, Homeless Feeds, Women Empowerment Workshops and a Safe Space for the Elderly.
In attendance were Community Plaza Directors Mohammed Zafran, Thomas Mcgeever, Riasat Mehmood, Mohammed Azim, Romanian Ambassador Julian Nistor, Wajid Burkey, GuardGroup Security, Taekwondo Group from London, Khalid Ali NHS, Councillor Raqeeb, Community Activist Ifzal, Amir Nabi, Jahangir Ahmed, Shahid Washwood Heath School, Adnan Quick Housing and Ghanaian Footballer William Tiero.
