Birmingham: A special drinks reception organised by the Conservative Friends of Pakistan took place at the Castle Art Gallery in the ICC Birmingham during the 2024 annual conference of the British Conservative Party. The event was hosted by the Chairman of Conservative Friends of Pakistan, Lord Zameer Chaudhry, and moderated by Vice Chairman Ambereen Raza. Attendees included key figures from the Conservative Party, such as Mr. James Calvary, British MPs Wendy Morton and Saqib Bhatti, along with other notable political leaders. The primary aim of the event was to engage and inform central leaders, members, and delegates from across the UK about the Conservative Friends of Pakistan, represent the Pakistani community, and network with like-minded individuals during the party’s annual conference.
During the event, Mrs Bakhtawar Mir, Vice Consul at the Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham, delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the Pakistani Ambassador to the esteemed participants. Members of the Pakistani community were also in attendance. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Lord Zameer Chaudhry expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests who had traveled from various parts of the UK.
