Birmingham: The Conservative Muslim Forum Birmingham & Midlands branch hosted its first face to face “Dine & Network” event at Zauq Buffet & Restaurant, Star City, Central Birmingham. The Conservative Muslim Forum was incepted by Lord & Lady Mohammed Sheikh in 2004 to promote political participation at all levels, from grassroots to Parliament. Since then various branches have been setup in Peterborough, Scotland and Manchester. Notable guests included Anthea McIntyre; former Member of European Parliament, Councillor Robert Alden; Leader of Birmingham Conservatives at Birmingham City Council along with other guests. Andy Street Mayor of the West Midlands send his best wishes to the forum and stated that Congratulations to The Birmingham and Midlands Conservative Muslim Forum on your first “Dine and Network” event. I hope you have a splendid evening exploring how Conservative values can become even more attractive to the Muslim community.
