London: Tehreek e Kashmir UK held demonstrations in Birmingham, Leeds and Southampton against illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir and demanded the release of all detainees arbitrarily and unlawfully detained in IOJ&K.Protesters were deeply concerned by the continued detention of thousands of Kashmiris who have been held in jails in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir and all over India before and in the aftermath of the events of August 5 2019, including minors, women, those who are ill and the elderly. In addition to those who have been languishing in jails for years for expressing their dissent to India’s occupation, an estimated 4,000 – 13,000 people have been detained since August 5.

Tehreek e Kashmir UK Central Leadership Sardar Waseem Feeroz , Malik Shafiq and Dr Imtiaz Khan led a protest in Leeds.Ch Ziarat Hussain SVP MC UK and Qazi Aftab Ahmed led a protest in Southhampton .The protestors chanted pro freedom slogans and condemned illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir and urged the United Nations to play its role for immediate release of all Kashmiri prisoners whose lives are in danger due to alarming situation of Covid 19 in India.
