Telford: The annual Gala Dinner of the Association of Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons of the United Kingdom, the oldest and most respected organization of British Pakistani doctors, was held in one of the most elegant halls in the Excellency Midlands, Telford.

The event brought together both junior and senior doctors, providing them with valuable insights on incidents, investigations, and professional challenges encountered in their medical practice.

Attendees were also introduced to the latest developments in artificial intelligence and its applications in modern healthcare, alongside a range of engaging activities for women and children. A live barbecue in a serene and picturesque setting added to the enjoyment of the evening, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to doctors and community figures in recognition of their outstanding contributions across various fields. Dr Usman Khan, former President of APPS UK, provided a detailed overview of the foundation, its initiatives, and future plans. Dr Amjad Saqib, Chairman of Akhuwat, who attended from Pakistan, shared inspiring insights into the work and services of his organization.

Certificates of appreciation were also presented to children, celebrating their involvement and achievements. Families of healthcare professionals attending the gala enjoyed a memorable and heartwarming experience, culminating in the ceremonial cutting of the APPS UK cake.
