Birmingham: Feedo Needo, a well-known social and welfare organisation, recently held a festive event for homeless and needy individuals during the coronation ceremony of King Charles III.
The event was a lively affair with the active participation of the local homeless, needy, and poor communities. Feedo Needo made arrangements to provide hot beverages, cakes, chocolates, fruits, and other food items as well as gifts for the homeless and those with mental and physical disabilities. These individuals were able to enjoy a peaceful and cheerful environment while celebrating the coronation of the new king.
Zahid Bhatti, the head of Feedo Needo, expressed his views on the occasion, stating that the people of Great Britain, with their diverse races and religions, celebrate their own festivals such as Eid, Christmas, Hanukah, Holi, and Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy. However, it is important to remember that the poor, homeless, and disabled members of society do not have access to such festivities and should not be overlooked. Feedo Needo believes in standing by these individuals in both good and bad times to ensure that they do not feel inferior.
The event concluded with the cutting of a cake, adding to the overall joy and celebration of King Charles III’s coronation. Report by S M Irfan Tahir Photojournalist / Member National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Great Britain.
