Manchester: Orphaned children must be adorned with the jewels of education to protect them from feelings of inferiority, deprivation, misguidance, and misunderstanding.

These views were expressed by the speakers while delivering speeches at an important event organised by the renowned social and welfare organisation Helping Little Angels UK at My Nawab, Manchester.

The ceremony officially began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Javed Akhtar. While Naat and Nasheed Artist Shahbaz Hassan Qadri presented Naatiya Kalam and received appreciation from the audience. Chief Executive of Janatul Firdous Pakistan, Saima Mohsin, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the supporters through a video call with the orphaned children from the Lahore orphanage. On this occasion, Chairperson Athar Siddiqui, Executive Member Omar Fayyaz Siddiqui and others presented a report of Helping Little Angels and gave a detailed briefing about it’s projects, constructions and needs.

The speakers further said that Ramadan teaches patience and sacrifice as well as generosity and service to humanity. Considering the needs of orphans and poor, and including them in our happiness is, in fact, understanding and acting on the true message of Ramadan. A significant amount of money was raised for orphans and needy children through the auction of various items after breaking the fast.
