Birmingham: The Vishwa Shanti Chandi Maha Yagya three day Prayers to Mother Goddess Chandi Durga for World Peace Event was held at the Shree Mahanand Dham Windmill Road Longford, Coventry. The aim of the event was to remove evils and negativity from the life of humanity and spread peace and love all over the world. It was hosted by Pandit Ravi Bhoshan. Shree Mahanand Dham is a non profit organisation, established in 1990. The main bases are in United Kingdom and India. Shree Mahanand Dham is a Hindu Religious Community Service based in Coventry, UK to meet the Hindu community’s growing cultural, religious and spiritual needs, and to provide an avenue for spiritual growth. The chief guest was the Lord Mayor of Coventry Linda Bigham, Kerry Bigham, Deputy Lord Mayor consort and Former Mayor of Telford Rajesh Mehta. Also present were religious, political, social leaders and members of the Hindu, Sikh and Muslim community. The event included religious singing, spiritual prayers ‘Hawan’ and Indian traditional dance. They also awarded performance certificates to preachers, community leaders, religious scholars and participants who performed there.
