Birmingham: Imran Khan Cancer Appeal, renowned charity Feedo Needo, Scholar School System, UK Cab and Pak-UK Fusion Society organized a memorable charity dinner at the beautiful and charming local hall.
The hosting duties were performed by prominent political and social personalities, including Zahid Bhatti, Abdullah Mushtaq, Nabeel Sheikh, Rubina Khan, and others.
The famous Pakistani actress Sajal Ali attended the event as a special guest. Atif Nawaz, a British-Pakistani comedian, was a moderator. A large number of reputable political, social, and business personalities from across the UK participated on this occasion.
In a short period of time, more than one hundred thousand pounds were raised for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital. Dr. Faisal Sultan from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Pakistan gave a detailed briefing about the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal plans, welfare services and needs.
An award ceremony was also held for local working journalists, and prominent photojournalists S M Irfan Tahir, Syed Abid Kazmi, Raja Nasir Mehmood, and others were honored with awards in recognition of their hard work in the community on behalf of the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal. Well-known British-Pakistani young artist Usman Faooqi entertained the participants by performing his art to the fullest. Shaukat Khanum Memorial charity was also collected for the hospital through the auction.
