DFP aghast over killing of youth by Indian forces in IoK

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has condemned in strong terms the killing of four youth by Indian occupation forces during a crackdown and search operations (CASO) at Naira village of district Pulwama.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the DFP spokesman advocate Arshad Iqbal termed the brutal killing of Kashmiri youth in occupied Kashmir as part of India’s nefarious game plan to alter the region’s demography. “Systematic killing of youth by the trigger-happy Indian forces has become a new norm in Kashmir”, the spokesman said adding that it was high time that the world should take effective notice of Indian state terrorism, which poses a serious existential threat to Kashmiris who have been reeling under the brutal Indian suppression for past several decades.

Lauding the sacrifices of Kashmiri youth, the DFP spokesman while extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families said that the day was not far when the Kashmiri nation would achieve its cherished goal of freedom for which hundreds and thousands of Kashmiris have laid down their precious lives.

The spokesman also condemned the issuing of summons by police to journalists and termed it as an attempt to stifle the free media.
