The INSPAD, held an awards ceremony in Birmingham, the second-largest city in the United Kingdom

Birmingham: The Institute of Peace and Development, a renowned international organization dedicated to human rights, peace, and religious harmony at the global level, held an awards ceremony in Birmingham, the second-largest city in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum, the President of INSPAD, chaired the event, and Sardar Adnan Rasheed, the Consul General of Pakistan Birmingham, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The ceremony recognised the contributions of three significant individuals involved in Pak-Kashmir-UK relations: Daughter of Kashmir, Ambassador of Pakistan, and Vice Consul of the Pakistan Consulate Birmingham, Ms. Bukhtawar Mir; Founder and Head of Venus Rajput Welfare Trust, Alhaj Abdul Khaliq Qadri; and Secretary General of All-Parties International Kashmir Coordination Committee, Sahibzada Muhammad Farooq ul Qadri. These individuals were honored with INSPAD peace awards for their exceptional achievements in various political, social, religious, and diplomatic roles.

Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum, the head of INSPAD and a prominent Kashmiri leader, expressed his admiration for the Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in the UK, recognising their selfless and effective diplomacy for their religion and nation. He also commended the active role played by Pakistani embassies in foreign countries. He expressed optimism that the Kashmir issue would be resolved soon.

Sardar Adnan Rasheed, the Consul General of Pakistan in Birmingham, paid tribute to INSPAD for organizing such events to inspire overseas individuals and reiterated his commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people until they achieve their right to self-determination.

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Councilor Amir Khan, former Councillor and honorary alderman Muhammad Akhlaq MBE, Colonel Retired Mohabbat Ali, Chairperson of the All Pakistan Women Association Birmingham, Ms. Riffat Mughal, prominent legal expert Dr. Ali Akbar Malik, Speaker of the World Sikh Parliament UK, Sardar Joga Singh, Chairman of INSPAD Overseas Kashmir Committee, Jahangir Khan Pothi, Syed Hussain Shaheed Sarwar Advocate, Raja Fazlur Rehman, Raja Shaukat Ali, Former Councillor Italy Iram Tahir, Naila Azmat, and others.
