Islamophobia and Tolerance Conference was held in the British Parliament, London, United Kingdom

London: As part of Islamophobia Awareness Month, a significant annual Islamophobia and Tolerance Conference was held in the British Parliament, led by MP Afzal Khan.

The event brought together members of the House of Lords, the House of Commons, Amnesty International UK, the Muslim Council of Britain, ambassadors from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and notable figures from political, social, and business spheres.

The keynote speakers included His .Excellency. Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom and Dean of the Arab diplomatic corps, Ambassador Mehmet Paçacı, PhD, the Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Combating Islamophobia; Ambassador Abdulkhaleq Ali Saeed Bindhaaer Al Yafei, Permanent Observer of the OIC Mission to the European Union; His Eminence Archbishop of Angaelos- the Archbishop of London, and Rabbi Janet Burden Ealing Liberal Synagogue among others. They shared their insights and highlighted the current global challenges related to Islamophobia and the importance of promoting tolerance.
