Birmingham: Kashmir Premier League Season 3 launch event was held at the HRA Banqueting hall Birmingham. It was hosted by renowned community activist and radio presenter Mr Ali, President of Kashmir Premier League – Arif Malik gave a detailed briefing on the complete journey of Kashmir Premier League, highlighting the highs, lows and successes of the organisation.
Chairman Tauqeer Ahmed, Former Federal Minister Shehryar Khan Afridi, Member of British Parliament Khalid Mehmood and other speakers also praised the positive actions of the Premier League on Kashmir and planning for the near future.
The main message from the speakers on this auspicious occasion was that Kashmir Premier League is a ray of hope and the beginning of a new era, especially for the youth of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where they will play an important vital role in opening the doors of the outside world for their success.
They highlighted that the executive KPL management overcame many challenges to attract many international stars resulting in unprecedented viewing figures. There are many franchise and sponsorship opportunities that will allow young talented Kashmiri players to perform at a recognised quality level to perform at an international level.
The consensus was that Kashmir’s rich history of Arts Culture, Cuisine, Sporting talent and natural beauty should be celebrated and showcased on a global level.
