Birmingham: National Bhangra Festival 2023 was held at the prestigious venue of The New Bingley hall in Birmingham. Bobby Bola & Culture Unite Team organised the event, with Manpreet Darroch, Meetu Singh, Apna Bhajan Jagpal, and Chandni Kahn as the hosts.
Renowned Punjabi artists from India and Pakistan, including Mahhi Kaur, Tariq Khan, Ruby Akhtar, Shin Cobra, Jeet Kaur, Balwinder Bhatti, Mehak Sharma, Manisha Chander, Meshi Sandhu, Bobby Sarver, Inderjit, Rohini Gogna, Kajal, Rubaya Pirzada, Neelum Singh, Ravneet Kaur, Adil Sohail and others, delivered special performances.
The crowd enthusiastically sang and danced to the artists’ melodious voices and musical tunes, momentarily forgetting their worldly sorrows. The participants were also treated to captivating performances by Haripa Dancers, Jodi Dancers, and Gidda Radio Panj Da. The Haripa Dancers and Jodi Dancers received immense applause, thoroughly entertaining everyone.
Additionally, stalls showcasing various items such as clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, shoes, and beauticians attracted the participants’ interest. The event provided a delightful evening filled with delicious food, cultural activities, and entertainment, catering to people of all ages and preferences.
The participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for successfully bringing together a vibrant and memorable Bhangra festival. They also expressed their willingness to fully cooperate and participate in future events of a similar nature.
