Derby: A notable annual event organised by the National Overseas Doctors Family Association (NODFA) UK, a prominent welfare and social organisation for overseas doctors, took place at the Grand River Suite in Derby.
The event was hosted by the organization’s founder and president, Dr. Kashif Chauhan, along with his team. The gathering saw active participation from key figures in the UK public health sector, who attended with their families.
Since its establishment in 2016, NODFA UK has been dedicated to the welfare of overseas doctors in the UK, working collaboratively on projects related to teaching and mentoring, charity, sports, and activities for families, women, and children.
The event was attended not only by NODFA members but also by leaders of esteemed organizations of Pakistani doctors. These included Dr. Abdul Hafeez, founder of the Association of Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons UK; Nauman Nabi, President of the Association of Irish Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons Ireland; Dr. Nadeem Sajjad Raja, General Secretary of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe, Dr. Raees Irfan, General Secretary of British Pakistani Psychiatrists Association, along with other dignitaries, praised the organisation’s exceptional services and remarkable contributions to the welfare of overseas doctors.
The event also featured a captivating performance by renowned singer Usman Farooqui, who enthralled the audience with his talent. A lavish dinner was served, delighting the distinguished guests who had traveled from various locations to attend.
