Birmingham: Overseas Business Forum UK recently organized a significant event aimed at showcasing tourism and investment opportunities in Pakistan.
The event was hosted by Muhammad Farooq Khan, Newly Elected Chairman of the Overseas Business Forum UK, and was graced by the Managing Director of PTDC, Aftab ur Rahman Rana, who attended as the chief guest.
Distinguished local political, social, and business figures were in attendance as well. During the event, Mohammad Ayub Khan provided a detailed briefing on Gilgit-Baltistan Hindu Kush and Karakuram tourist spots.
In his address, Babar Raja, Kamal Shifji, Deputy Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councilor Shafiq Hussain Shah, Asia Hussain, and others expressed their optimism that Pakistan will soon overcome its challenges and progress towards prosperity and development.
They urged the diaspora community to play an active role in promoting tourism and investing in Pakistan’s future. In addition to this, Aftab ur Rahman Rana also gave a comprehensive presentation to the participants about the various tourist destinations and facilities available in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Muhammad Farooq Khan highlighted the investment opportunities in the property and housing sectors of the country.
The event also featured a special prayer session for the security of Pakistan and the establishment of world peace, during which the participants broke their fast. Overall, the event proved to be an excellent platform for highlighting the potential of Pakistan’s tourism industry and promoting investment opportunities to the diaspora community.
