The 7th Pakistan-UK Business Opportunities Conference was held at the Council House in Birmingham

Birmingham: The 7th Pakistan-UK Business Opportunities Conference was held at the Council House in Birmingham. The event was organised by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Ken Wood, officially opened the event. Following the national anthems of the United Kingdom and Pakistan, distinguished guests including Shafiq Shahzad, Trade and Investment Minister at the Pakistan High Commission in London, Acting Consul General of Pakistan in Birmingham Kamran Ahmed Malik, Senior Vice President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Hamza Sarosh, President of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Dr. Nasir Awan, President of Greater Birmingham Global Chamber of Commerce Mark Smith, and others shared their insights on the abundant business opportunities and the promotion of trade between the UK and Pakistan.

The speakers emphasised the importance of strengthening trade and business relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

On this occasion, commemorative shields were presented to the special guests by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.

The ceremony concluded with a luncheon served to the distinguished guests from near and far.
