London: Grand Rally of the People’s Assembly protest was held in London. An estimated 10-15 thousand people joined the march, with numerous trade union banners from Unite, CWU, NEU and several from the RMT. Extinct Rebellion were there and a noisy contingent of young people supporting Palestine. The placards were from the People’s Assembly “Not fit to govern” and “Kill the Bill” but the “Stop the War’ placards, ‘Cut War not Welfare, Cut War not healthcare’, ‘Free Palestine’ and ‘Gaza End the Siege’ were more widely carried.
