Birmingham: The 32nd Annual Seerat Conference took place at Masjid Ali Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat. The conference was organised and hosted by Hafiz Adeel Tassawar, Chairman of Masjid Ali & son of the late Qari Tassawar Ul Haq who was the founder of Masjid Ali, Madrassah Qasim Ul Uloom and the Muslim Cultural Society.
The Annual Seerat Conference was a legacy built by Qari Tassawar, bringing together respected Ulemas and Islamic scholars, world renowned international Naat & Nasheed artists and Quran reciters to teach and reflect on the blessed aspects and lessons of the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The speakers included Maulana Abu Bakr Siddique, Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, Maulana Anis Ahmed Bilgrami, Maulana Yahya Abbassin Maulana Mohammed Rafiq Jami and others. The event was attended by political and social figures of the local community, such as Councillor Mohammed Idrees, Ansar Ali Khan, Liaqat Gorsi, Ch Shah Nawaz, Councillor Basharat Mahmood.
The Ladies section included a variety of different stalls including food, desserts, toys, mehndi, abayas and more. There was also entertainment for children including face painting and an inflatable play area.
The message of the conference was that to attain success in life, we must follow in the footsteps of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) both through our actions and our characteristics.
Overall, the 32nd Annual Seerat conference was a success and as a tradition which was started by the late Qari Tassawar Ul Haq, his successor, Hafiz Adeel Tassawar ended the conference by announcing the date for the next conference to be held on Sunday 27th August 2023.
