Birmingham: The Fundraiser 2025 Charity Dinner for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital took place at the Quaid-e-Azam Grand Ballroom in Birmingham.
The event was organised by UKCAB, Global Kidney Foundation, Feedo Need, Scholar School System, and Pak UK Fusion Society and was hosted by Atif Nawaz. Dr. Aasim Yousuf, CMO of Shaukat Khanum, provided an in-depth briefing on the hospital’s projects, ongoing construction, facilities, and funding needs.
Accompanying him was renowned Pakistani TV drama actress and Imran Khan Cancer Appeal ambassador, Hareem Farooq. The evening featured captivating performances by acclaimed British TV host, anchor, and comedian Shazia Mirza, along with the mesmerising Qalandar Qawal, keeping the audience entertained. In response to Shaukat Khanum’s appeal, attendees contributed generously. The event’s chief organiser, Zahid Bhatti, expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests who traveled from near and far to support the cause.
