Herefordshire: Shree Mahanand Dham’s annual Vishwa Shanti Chandi Maha Yagya Festival of Peace was held at the Poulstone Court Retreat and Meditation Center Herefordshire on Sunday, July 17th. On this occasion the leading priest expressed their views and stated that The prayers to Goddess Mother Chandi brings peace and removes all negativity within us and encourages us to cherish and promote peace, love and harmony for all. Spiritual mantras in Sanskrit and havan (a sacred fire ritual) was part of the day’s event.
People from all religious backgrounds attended the festival, revered the holy mantras, the divine chanting and enjoyed the food and festivity the day presented. This annual event was coordinated by Acharya Pandit Ravi Bhushan of Shree Mahanand Dham, Coventry. Among those who drove long distances from Coventry, Birmingham and Nottingham to Herefordshire.
Also present were Honourable Former Mayor of Rugby Ramesh Srivastava, General Secretary of BOPA Davinder Prasad and around 150 devotees and devotee Usha Rishi from USA. MR Rajesh Rai and Mrs. Dr. Divya Rai offered the Poulstone Court Retreat and Meditation centre venue to hold this religious and joyous event, and provided delicious food to all who attended the festival of peace for the day.
