Islamabad: Opposition leader in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen on Wednesday said that Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) United Kingdom (UK) has been playing tremendous role since 1980s to support Kashmir freedom struggle at international level saying TeK is the powerful voice of Kashmiris in Britain and Europe.
The opposition leader Yaseen said that the workers of TeK are highly educated including doctors, engineers and lawyers. This he said while meeting President TeK UK Raja Fahim Kayani who called on the opposition leader Yaseen at his residence here.
On the occasion, leader of the opposition Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen said that after August 5,2019 no one else could do what the TeK UK did at international level in general and in European countries and the UK in particular under the leadership of Kayani.
Opposition leader Yaseen said that Kayani had brought Pakistanis and Kashmiris together in UK and Europe on the platform of TeK and linked them for the support of Kashmiris indigenous freedom struggle globally which is his great work and would be remembered for ever.
Opposition leader Yaseen further said that even during the Corona virus, Kayani held virtual conferences to highlight the Kashmir cause and ongoing Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The leader of the opposition Yaseen added that Kayani is the founder of virtual conferences during the Corona epidemic regarding Kashmir dispute on which we congratulate him.
President TeK UK Kayani expressed his gratitude and hailed the role of Opposition leader Yaseen for promoting the Kashmir cause both in Pakistan and abroad saying in the previous government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Opposition leader Yaseen delivered very well to empower the people and now his performance both in and out the legislative assembly as an opposition leader is matchless.
