Birmingham: The Balsall Heath Cross Faith Christmas Food Hampers Pack distribution to those most vulnerable and elderly in the Balsall Heath neighborhood. The reaction of both residents and volunteers was emotional with some recipient’s near tears at receiving the food parcel. For many It was the thought that counted and many residents said that they did feel forgotten before they received the food pack. That feeling is felt by many and it is up to us under the love your neighbor banner to reach out to those who feel isolated from the neighborhood.The Balsall Heath Forum, and all volunteers agreed that we should also cover Eid, Easter and all other Festive times of the year to reach out and show love to our neighbors.
