Oldham: International Kashmir Conference on the Jammu Kashmir issue and the current challenges and possibilities being encountered by Kashmiris was held at the Madina Hall Gainsborough, Oldham. Organised by UKPNP Oldham Unit and it was hosted by Syed Barkat ul hassan President UKPNP Oldham Unit. Chief Guest was Exiled Chairman of UKPNP Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmir. The keynote speakers were Chairman JKNIA UK Mahmood Kashmiri, Ashfaq Gulharvi JKNEP, Masroor Sabzwari, Sardar Amjad Yousaf President UKPNP Europe, Saleem Hayyat JKNAP, Qasim Zia JKNEP, Raja Atif PMLN AJK, Yasir Arfat UKPNP, Sardar Farooq Nazir UKPNP, Qamar Khalil UKPNP, Waqar Aziz UKPNP, Asif Abbas UKPNP, Sajid Mahmood Malik UKPNP, Zohaib Hassrat JKNAP and others. They expressed their views and stated that Kashmiris don’t accept the division and partition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Invaders are trying to monopolise the freedom struggle with for own benefits. Kashmiris should save their country from outsiders through strong unity and a clear vision. Kashmir was an independent state yesterday and we want to see it free and independent in the future. Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri stated that Gandhi was a man of principles who sacrificed their life for the right of Indian minorities and the vulnerable. Today India has lost it’s secular and democratic norms. He said Diaspora community have a major responsibility to gain success for their Occupied nations. UKPNP raised their voice in favour of Kashmiris in UNHRC, EU, influential platforms and all around the world. We don’t support any forms of violations like terrorism, extremism and radicalisation. We are peaceful people and believe in the peaceful and long lasting solution for the issue of Kashmir. Kashmiri diaspora should try to understand the new era of evolution and it’s demands. Unipolar world does not give us permission for armed struggle and destruction. Also present were Sardar Tariq Khan, Sardar Asad Khan, Naveed Khan, Shahid Mahmood Khan,M junaid Kayani and others.
