London: The International Kashmir Conference on “Reunification of the Historical State of Jammu and Kashmir and the Right to Self-Determination” was held at the British House of Commons, London.
The event was organised by the United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP) United Kingdom Chapter and hosted by MP Richard Burgon. Tariq Khan, President of UKPNP’s UK Chapter, presided over the conference.
Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, Exile Chairman of UKPNP, attended as the chief guest and presented his position on the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the right to self-determination, and his comprehensive approach to achieving a real solution. Keynote speakers included MPs Fabian Hamilton, Andy McDonald, Barrister Ayoub Khan, Iqbal Mohamed, and Baroness Bryan of Partick, alongside prominent Kashmiri leaders such as Sardar Nasir Aziz khan, Junaid Qureshi, Mahmood Ahmed Kashmir, Sajid Hussain, Faria Atique, Usman Kiyani, Sohail Talat, Fatima Anwar, Syeda Mahroona Bukhari, Mushahid Manzoor. Syed Barkat-ul- Hassan, and others.
The conference served as a platform for multi-dimensional dialogue on Kashmir, addressing the political, humanitarian, and media-driven aspects of the issue. It also outlined a clear, actionable path for the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of self-determination, creating significant momentum on the global stage.
