Birmingham: British Pakistani Initiatives (BPI) and Warwickshire County Cricket Club held a press conference at the Chairman’s Lounge, Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham, to announce Warwickshire cricket clubs’ historic tour to Lahore, Pakistan.
Warwickshire County Cricket Club, one of the eighteen first-class county clubs in England and Wales, hosted the event. Speakers included Stuart Cain, CEO of Warwickshire County Cricket Club; Paul Greetham, High Performance Manager at Warwickshire County Cricket Club; Miss Bukhtawar Mir, Vice Consul at the Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham; and Raf Sabir, BPI Representative and member of the Warwickshire Inclusion Advisory Board.
During their address to local electronic and print media, they highlighted the significance of this milestone tour, emphasising its potential to enhance bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK in sports and other fields.
