The third annual Iftar Dinner, organised by the West Midlands Ambulance Service

Midland: The third annual Iftar Dinner, organised by the West Midlands Ambulance Service, took place at the West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust Sandwell Hub. The event was hosted by Imam Muhammad Asad MBE.

On this special occasion, Chief Executive Anthony Marsh shared insights into the ambulance service’s work and delivered a powerful message promoting mutual harmony, unity, tolerance, and responsible behavior within the community. Imam Muhammad Asad MBE gave an in-depth talk on Islam, the significance of Ramadan, the similarities between different religions, and the importance of coexistence and interfaith harmony.

The event saw participation from professionals across various sectors, students, and community members. Imam Muhammad Asad MBE also offered special prayers for global peace and in remembrance of those who have given their lives in service. The evening concluded with people from different schools of thought gathering under one roof to break their fast together, following the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) and performing Namaz, all under the blessings of Allah.
