Birmingham: Women Empowering Women had their “Storytelling Exhibition ” on the 1st February at St Peters College. Lots of local women, schools and community member’s gathered together for the much awaited exhibition. The project gave an opportunity to local women to tell stories that would normally not be heard and go undocumented. Project Coordinator and founder of WEW Mrs Snouber Sharif said that she felt extremely privileged to have managed this successful project. The group also thanked their funders Near Neighbours for their continuous support. The exhibition was very attended and included. Cllr Aikhlaq Cllr Ansar Ali Khan Cllr Mariam Khan. WEW group members Rehna Sharif Sonia Swindale Theresa Daish Zeenat Riaz Fatema Mullah Sabia Bi Shaine Mumtaz Rani Imran. Starbank School and Parkfield Community School also took part in visiting the exhibition.
