Birmingham: On the occasion of World Homeless Day on October 10, 2023, the renowned welfare and social organisation, Feedo Needo, organised a heartfelt program for homeless and needy individuals, considering their requirements and emotions.
Homeless, destitute, and people facing various challenges actively participated in the event. Customised parcels containing a variety of essential items were distributed to meet their needs.
Additionally, a range of provisions, including food items, hot tea, chocolates, biscuits, cakes, warm socks, gloves, and other necessities, were provided at the Feedo Needo headquarters. Complimentary hairdressing services were also arranged for these deserving individuals on this significant day.
Zahid Bhatti, the founder and chairman of Feedo Needo, emphasised that homeless and needy people are disproportionately impacted by inflation and other societal challenges. Therefore, addressing their joys and sorrows is of paramount importance. Fostering a sense of belonging and importance within the homeless, vulnerable, and impoverished is crucial to avoid potential issues arising from them feeling inferior and neglected. It is imperative to integrate them into the broader fabric of society. To achieve this, Feedo Needo and its dedicated organisers and volunteers are tirelessly working day and night.
The mission of serving humanity will persist with the continued support of their dedicated assistants. On this occasion, volunteers from Abdul Faheem Bhatti, Gracefilled, Naday Ali, Muhammad Hassan and NatWest Bank also offered support and care to the homeless, needy, and underprivileged individuals.
