London: 27 of Oct 2019 was observed as a black day in London. Thousands of Pakistani, Kashmiris and human rights activists assembled at outside 10 Downing Street at the residence of Prime Minister United Kingdom, Boris Johnson. It was organised by Allama Syed Zaffar Ullah Shah.
People gathered from all walks of life including spiritual personalities, religious scholars, politicians, educationalists, social and human rights activists and others. They showed solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are struggling for their right to self determination and freedom in Indian occupied Kashmir. Keynote speakers were Ch Mohammed Yasin Opposition Leader of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rashid Turabi MLA and Chairman public account committee Azad Kashmir, Information Minister Government of Azad Kashmir Mushtaq Minhas, Mehr ul Millat Pir Syed Munawar Hussain Shah Jamati, Sajjada Nasheen Ameer E Millat Alipur Syedan Sharif, Pakistan, Pir Sultan Fiazul Hassan Qadri Sarwari Sajjada Nashine Hazzrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu R.T.A, Hazrat Mufakkir e Islam Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani, Altaf Ahmed Bhat Senior Leader APHC Pakistan Chapter, G M Dar Editor Daily Kashmir Post International, Councillor Waseem Zaffar cabinet member for transport and environment at Birmingham City Council, Fahim Kayani President Tehreek e Kashmir UK, Zaffar Ahmed Qureshi, Al Shaykh Imran Abdali, Imam Ejaz Ahmed Shaami, Allama Barkat Ahmed Chishti, Raja Amjed Khan President PMLN AJK West Midlands, Shaykh Umar Hayat Qadri, Pir Noor ul Arifeen, Qari Muhammad Farhan Siddiqui and others expressed their views and stated that India has imposed a curfew. Furthermore Kashmir is facing a communication blackout, food and medicine shortages and there are many killings and illegal detention of people.
They urged the International community and asked India to stop genocide, ethnic cleansing, economical terrorism, non democratic activities, extremism and terrorism against the innocent people of Indian occupied Kashmir. They showed solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are under siege of the Indian armed forces and fascist regime in IOK. They also chanted the slogans against the Indian Army, Narendra Modi’s Government and human rights violations in Indian Jammu and Kashmir.
They also submitted the Kashmir petition to 10 Downing Street at the residence of PM UK Boris Johnson during the demonstration, about the recent violations and negative activities in the Kashmir valley. Demonstrators March from 10 Downing Street to Trafalgar Square.
The march ended with a prayer by Mehr ul Millat Pir Syed Munawar Hussain Shah Jamati, Sajjada Nasheen Ameer E Millat Alipur Syedan Sharif, Pakistan, Pir Sultan Fiazul Hassan Qadri Sarwari Sajjada Nashine Hazzrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu R.T.A, for the innocent Kashmiri brother, sisters and freedom seekers who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Kashmir. In attendance were Councillor Zaker Ch, Councillor Baber Baz, Zubair Iqbal Kiani, Zeeshan Ahmed, Kubra Bibi, Asia Hussian, Adeela Parvez, Rana Shama Nazir, Shazia Bashir, Rabiya Meer, Zaffar Jarral, Naila Khan, Razia Tariq Hadait, Zobia Tariq Hadait, Haji Munir Asim and many others.
