Special Civic Reception & welcome to honour the Lord-Lieutenant
Birmingham: Special Civic Reception and welcome to honour the West Midland’s Lord-Lieutenant, Mr John Crabtree OBE & Mrs Diane Crabtree. The special ceremony took place at the Nishkam Center Soho Road Handsworth. The event was presided by Chairman, Bhai Sahib Mohinder Singh OBE KSG. The theme of the event was ‘The Importance of Values Led Civic Regeneration From A Faith Perspective’. Representatives from a diverse range of communities were present, including different faith leaders, social activist, Councillors, businessmen and others The Speakers of the event included guest of honour Lord Lieutenant West Midlands who expressed his views about the real message of love, community engagement, social, education and social regeneration projects. They served food called Langar at the end.
