British Kashmiris, KDF and NHS COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Campaign in Nottingham
Nottingham: Kashmir development Foundation (KDF) in collaboration with the NHS has launched a Vaccination Campaign to raise awareness about Flu and Covid 19 Vaccine to increase the uptake of booster Jab and Flu Vaccination.
The Campaign is aimed at the people who are at risk of reduced immunity against Covid -19 and Flu. KDF has organised an information sharing activity outside the Jameah Fatimiah Mosque, Nottingham and distributed flyers containing information in three languages Pahari, Urdu and English regarding flu and COVID-19 booster Vaccination.
On this occasion, local community members, social, political, business and religious leaders joined KDF volunteers in the leaflet distribution and Walkabout activity. The flyers were delivered to houses in and around the predominantly Kashmiri and Pakistani community residential area. Sardar Aftab Khan, Executive Director, Kashmir Development Foundation, Sahibzada Syed Allay Mohammed Shah, Chairman Zindage Welfare Society, Javed Abbasi, Javed Khan Yousafzai, Majid Hussain, Sardar Naseem Iqbal Advocate, Sardar Ibrahim Advocate, Raja Mohammed Asghar, Jamil Ashraf, Ijaz Sharif, Senior Journalist Shagofta Akhtar and Khawaja Kabir Ahmed were present there.
