Turkish Ambassador H.E Koray Ertaş meets with Turkish community in Birmingham and the West Midlands

Birmingham: A reception ceremony was elegantly held at Park Regis Birmingham in honor of His Excellency Koray Ertaş, the Turkish Ambassador. The event was hosted by British MP Tahir Ali and Dr Göktuğ Tenekeci, Chair of the West Midlands Turkey Association, and was organised by former MP Khalid Mahmood. The Turkish community in Birmingham and the West Midlands attended in large numbers, celebrating the vibrant and dynamic presence of the Turkish community in the region.

During the event, the Turkish Ambassador provided a comprehensive briefing on Turkey-UK relations, trade, business, and various activities. British MP Tahir Ali, former MP Khalid Mahmood, the Consul General of Turkey in Manchester, and other speakers expressed their views, emphasising that Britain offers vast opportunities and that the relationships between the diverse communities here continue to strengthen and deepen.

The Turkish Ambassador highlighted that the success of the Turkish community in the UK, in fields such as business and education, is a testament to the success of Turkey as a nation. Distinguished guests shared these sentiments with World News TV during the event.
