London: High Commissioner Mr. Tipu Usman held an introductory meeting with representatives of Pakistani media houses working in London.

The High Commissioner appreciated the positive role of Pakistani media in UK during the Marka-e-Haq and keeping the diaspora informed on important issues.

Mr. Tipu Usman reiterated that Pakistan High Commission, London remains available to working closely with Pakistani media representatives for outreach about initiatives and reforms that will facilitate Pakistani diaspora in UK.

Media representatives welcomed Mr. Tipu Usman on assuming his position as the High Commissioner.

During the interactive session, media representatives put forward various suggestions for improving outreach to the diaspora and welfare of the Pakistani community residing across the UK.
