A Bhojpuri literary and cultural evening at Birmingham, UK
Birmingham: Gitanjali Multilingual Literary Circle Presented a Bhojpuri Literary and Cultural Evening at Park Land Banqueting Suite Birmingham Hosted by Dr Krishna Kumar. The Stage Secretary was Manoj Bhawuk Famous Indian TV Anchor and Presenter. The purpose of the event was to promote Indian culture, tradition and languages. Also to refresh the mother language of those people who left their homeland many years ago and have now settled in the United Kingdom and Europe. In addition it aimed to promote and develop the Indian languages anongst the younger generation. They sang and performed a Bhojpuri dance. They also served traditional food at the end of the evening .Also were present Mr Chakraborty Vice Consul General of India, Dr Ajay Tripathi,Dame Asha Khemka OBE DBE DL Principal and Chief Executive West Nottinghamshire College Group, Dr Krishna Kanhaiya, Dr Shashi Tripathi, Ramesh Shrivastiva, Deepak Tripathi, Krishan Talwar, Dr Sabodh Jain, Jai P Gupta, Poonam Singh, Paraful Modi, Dr Anand K Sinha, Dr Arun K Sinha, Sandeep Nayyar, Dr Rajiv Agrawal, Manohar Laal,Ramesh and other.
