The Indian troops are committing the worst kind of human rights violations in the territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement

Islamabad: Syed Faiz Naqshbandi Convener of All Parties Hurriyet Conference led by incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian troops are committing the worst kind of human rights violations in the territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement. He said that Indian troops are raiding the home and inn-mates are harassed and tortured. Large number of Kashmiris have been arrested and taken to unknown places.

Convener Naqshbandi has denounced the continued illegal and arbitrary house arrest of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and demands his immediate release. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq besides being Chairman APHC, Mirwaiz is Mirwaiz-I-Kashmir and has vast religious responsibilities as Mirwaiz.

Naqshbandi said India has become a serious threat to regional peace and security. India is changing the demographics of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir which is against the international law and UN resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.

He appealed the United Nations to intervene urgently to save human lives from Indian repression. He stressed for calling special UN Security Council session on grim situation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
