The Badger Health Care Group Christmas 2022 lunch & Staff Award Ceremony
Birmingham: The Badger Health Group held its Christmas Lunch & Staff Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 21 December 2022 at Aston Bourne Road to highlight the dedication, hard work and outstanding achievements of so many staff who are delivering high quality services and putting patients first.
Badger Health Group provides GP out of hours GP and urgent care services covering a patient base of 1.6 million across Birmingham & Solihull.
Sixteen awards were handed out this year by the Founder & Executive Chair of Badger Health Group, Dr Fay Wilson. The recipients for the Chair’s Award for Excellence were: Miss Sarah Brooks, Mrs Rachael Cockayne, Mrs Angela Cook, Mrs Kelly Hughes, Mr Maninder Nandra, Dr Noel-Cyril Oguego, Ms Anna-Maria Shiels, Mr Raja Yasir, Mrs Emma Beardsmore, Mrs Tina-Bennett Palmer, Dr Junaid Hussain, Mr Mohammed Kadir and Ms Andrea Walkey.
The President of Badger Health Group, Dr Mukesh Sinha received a Lifetime Achievement Award, as did Mrs Pat Overton-Brown, Nurse Consultant. Mr Steve Flavell received a Chair’s Certificate of Commendation.
Dr Wilson said: “Despite everything we face, we continue to step up and keep our focus where it should be – on the patients and the communities that we serve.
“It is right, therefore, that we recognise and celebrate the passion, hard work and dedication of those staff who go that extra mile in putting patients first and I want to congratulate all those who’ve received awards this year.
“However, the staff awards ceremony is just a snapshot of all the excellent work undertaken by our staff every day and I want to thank all our people for everything that they do to provide and enable excellent and compassionate care.”
