Birmingham: BYSA Great Gala Charity Dinner was held at the Aston Villa Football Club This was an amazing evening raising money for a great cause. BYSA encourages boys and girls to get into sports, mentoring and educational programmes. This is BYSA’s 17th year and it is going from strength to strength winning the Pride of Birmingham Award and the Queens Award for voluntary services to the community. It was hosted by Kev Orkian. John Barnes the Liverpool legend was in attendance along with Orie boxing champion, entertainment by Manish Bhasin and Jon Clegg. Many political personalities, businessmen, community leaders and people from all walks of life were present there. Chairman Amer Khan also presented a Special BYSA Awards to the youngest sportsmen. Money raised to continue the great work carried out by BYSA hard work. Also present were Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Mohammed Azim, Lady Mayoress Bushra Bi, Major Naveed Mohammed, Nazir Awan, Amer Awan, Anwar Khattak, Bobby Waris, Azhar Mahmood, Nadia Rasool, Abid Khan, Waheed Saleem, Ash Ahmed, Mohammed Ali, Ch Majid and many others.
