Coventry: The event was hosted by Shree Mahanand Dham in collaboration with the British Organisation for People of Asian-origin at the Coventry Canal Basin Trust.
The event was led by Pandit Ravi Bhushan, Usha Rishi, Davinder Prasad JP MJF General Secretary, BOPA, and Dr. Rakesh Sachdev as the hosts. Distinguished guests in attendance included Colonel George Marsh MBE TD DL Deputy Lieutenants Representing Sir John Crabtree, Lord Lieutenant West Midland, Lord Mayor, Coventry Councillor Jaswant Singh Birdi, Mayor of Rugby Councillor Maggie O’Rourke, Police & Crime Commissioner West Midlands Mr Simon Foster, Former Mayor of Rugby Ramesh Srivastava, Lt Commander Suzzane Lynch Royal Navy, Major Ian Birtle 159 Regiment British Army, Mr Nick Cleaver Community Engagement officer, Canal & River Trust, Sgt Shiv Chand Royal Airforce, Ms Amrita Saund Miss Birmingham, Ms Jennifer Carless – Ms WASUP Queen, Miss England finalists, and various others.
During the event, Acharya Pandit Ravi Bhushan conducted religious rituals with utmost devotion and respect, accompanied by other guests and followers. Prominent individuals from diverse religious backgrounds and schools of thought delivered a universal message of inter-faith harmony, tolerance, peace, and mutual respect. A special prayer was offered for the safety and security of Ukraine. Following the festivities, a delectable dinner was served to all distinguished guests, who had traveled from both near and far. In conclusion, Acharya Pandit Ravi Bhushan expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in this significant occasion.
