Chairman of the Iqbal Academy Dr Saeed Akhtar Durani has sadly passed away
Birmingham: Famous Urdu poet, writer, intellectual, scientist , former chairman of the Iqbal Academy and Certified Sitara-i-Imtiaz President Pakistan, 1982 Professor Dr Saeed Akhtar Durani has sadly passed away at the age of 88 in the Birmingham Hospital.
He has left behind his wife, one son, two daughter’s, many friends, followers and students. Furthermore he has written many books on poetry like ‘Ghubar e Kehkshan’ and Dr Allama Mohammed Iqbal R.TA life’s in Europe ‘Nawader e Iqbal Europe main’ and other research books on the subject of Physics. He was a Physics teacher at the University of Birmingham. In addition he was also part of a team of very important scientists who had carried out research relating to the Moon. Most significantly he lead a team of researchers to carry out research on soil and stones collected from the moon for the first time in history.
Dr Saeed Akhtar Duranis death is a big loss for Humanity and also for the world of Urdu literature. He remains alive in the heart’s of people’s for his great work for humanity as well as his special work on Dr Allama Mohammed Iqbal R.TA life’s in Europe. He spent most of his last stage of life in the United Kingdom but Pakistani community didn’t recognise his great work. May Allah give him a high rank in Jannah and people should follow the footstep of Great persons like Dr Saeed Akhtar Durrani within the overseas community.
