H.E Dr Saeed Akhtar Durani,s last ever interview in his life was based on very sensitive issues such as Who made Pakistan’s atomic power? Would Pakistan stop making atomic bombs if India stops?. Furthermore, in his interview, he stated that Atomic energy can be used not only to destroy humanity but can also be used in health, medicine, industry and agriculture in a positive way. In addition, he stated the truth is that Dr A Q Khan did not make Pakistan an atomic power and atomic energy is a weapon which does not only kill people but it can also save lives through use in surgeries and operations. Furthermore, he stated that “I have spent three years in United Kingdom atomic energy research centre. We can prevent the electricity shortage in Pakistan by using atomic energy.
